Here is what is happening at the Prostate Center.

Quarterly Guest Speaker Program—Thursday 2 Aug

Speaker: Ms. Donna Horn-Hooks, LCSW
Presentation: “Coping—Beyond the Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer for Patient and Caregiver”
Time: 1900-2030
Location: WRNMMC (via video teleconference-America building, Bldg #19, 2nd floor, Room 2525, above the lab) and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (Oaks Pavilion, 1st floor, Room Sl.901-Library Lecture Hall).

Family and friends are always welcomed (military and civilian).

Information/Support Group Meetings

Meetings are every 2nd Thursday of the month

Date: Thursday 9 August
Times: 1300-1400 and 1830-1930
Location: Urology Clinic (2nd floor, Sunrise Pavilion)

Note for Fort Belvoir: A military ID is required to get on post at Fort Belvoir. Attendees without a military ID need to arrive at the gate about 1 hour before the meeting to complete paperwork for post access. Also bring some form of picture identification.

Family and friends are always welcomed (military and civilian).

Information/Support Group Meetings

Meetings are every 3rd Thursday of the month

Date: Thursday 16 August
Times: 1300-1400 and 1830-1930
Location: River Conference Room, America Building, 3rd floor (next to Prostate Center).

Note: A military ID card is required to get on base. Attendees without a military ID need to call the Prostate Center at 301-319-2900 at least 4 business days in advance to complete paperwork for gate access approval. They will also need some form of picture identification at the gate.

Family and friends are always welcomed (military and civilian).
