Shiv Srivastava, Ph.D.

Co-director, CPDR
Professor & Scientific Director

Dr. Shiv Srivastava is the CPDR Co-Director and Scientific Director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR) and a Professor in the Department of Surgery at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) in Bethesda, MD. He has been a faculty member at USU since 1989 and prior to that was a faculty member of the Georgetown University-Lombardi Cancer Center (1987-1989).

Albert Dobi, Ph.D.

Associate Director, CPDR Basic Science Research Program

Dr. Albert Dobi joined the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR) in September 2003 and became the Assistant Director of Basic Science Research Program in March 2007. Dr. Albert Dobi is the Chief of the Section for Gene Regulation and Bioinformatics, a Research Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Department of Surgery, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and also he is a member of The United States Military Cancer Institute (USMCI).

Gyorgy Petrovics, Ph.D.

Assistant Director, CPDR Basic Science Research Program

Dr. Gyorgy Petrovics joined the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR) in November 1999 and became Assistant Director in 2006. He is the Chief of Translational Genomics at CPDR and a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS).


Taduru Sreenath, Ph.D.

Assistant Director, CPDR Basic Science Research Program

Dr. Taduru Sreenath joined the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR) in January 2006. As chief of Gene Functions and Molecular Mechanisms section, Dr. Sreenath leads a team of CPDR researchers using in vivo and ex vivo approaches to identify biological functions of genes relevant to the development of normal prostate and prostate cancer (CaP). Dr. Sreenath's scientific interests focus on understanding molecular mechanisms underlying cancer initiation and development using mouse models.

Erica Grant

Program Coordinator, CPDR Basic Science Research Program

Erica Grant is Basic Sciences program Coodinator serving at the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR) Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. Erica brings over 10 years of administrative experience in the areas of customer relations and program implementation from various public and private organizations.
